Michaela McLean is a double major in Dance and Public Relations at the University of Alabama. As a competitive dancer for over a decade at Shooting Stars School of Performing Arts, she is a two-time Victory Cup Winner and Top 20 Soloist at Starpower Nationals. She has countless hours of performance experience, most recently with University of Alabama’s Dance Team and in shows such as “Dance Alabama!” and “Alabama Repertory Dance Theatre” through the UA Dance Program.

In 2014, Michaela won the title of Miss Florida’s Outstanding Teen and went on to compete at the Miss America’s Outstanding Teen Pageant, where she placed Top 10 and won the Dance Talent Award. During her year of service, Michaela traveled across the state of Florida serving as a state ambassador for Children’s Miracle Network, implementing her nutritional awareness initiative “Eat2Compete: Get the Healthy Edge,” and sharing her love for dance through performing.

Over the past decade, Michaela has performed to over 15,000 people by traveling across the globe with 3D Missions’ performing arts outreach team. This summer Michaela will help launch an all-girl conference tour entitled, “Brave and Beautiful” in Nairobi, Kenya and train in New York City with the iconic precision dance company, the Radio City Rockettes.
